Sparkles Online becomes Bella Murano – a new name for an old dream

Today is the day. Sparkles Online is now called Bella Murano.

A new name, a fresh look… but the same soul.
And it is one of love, wonder and a dream that began when I was a little girl.

A childhood dream of glass and color

Even as a child, I was enchanted by sparkling jewelry. The magical glass from Italy particularly captivated me. The colors, the light, the patterns—it seemed like magic in jewelry form. I dreamed of one day wearing such gems myself. And who knows… sharing them with others.

That dream never quite faded, but it truly took shape during a trip to Rome in 2021. There, I stumbled upon the most beautiful Murano glass jewelry – in tiny boutiques, glittering in the sunlight. It felt like everything had clicked into place. I knew: this is what I want to do.

From dream to webshop – and beyond

I started Sparkles Online, from my living room, with one mission: to bring the beauty of Murano glass to the Benelux.

What I didn't expect was that you – my customers – weren't just from the Netherlands or Belgium… but from all over the world. From America to Australia. From Norway to New Zealand.

That's so special. And such rewarding work.

Sparkles Online grew—not just as an online store, but as a brand. And I grew along with it.
It was time for a name that exactly matches what I want to radiate : craftsmanship, Italian elegance and timeless beauty.

Why Bella Murano?

"Bella" means beautiful in Italian – and that's precisely what Murano glass is. "Murano" is the island near Venice where the magic happens – where glass masters have been passing down their secrets from generation to generation for centuries.

Together they form the new name of my brand:
